One of my most memorable photo shoots was a walk around Cape Town city center with a few other photographers. We spend the morning meandering through the city and as I was editing the images, I knew that for me, they had to be in black & white. Black & white just seems to be a bit more timeless, a bit more emotion, a bit more contrast, a bit more than it would have been in colour.
